A resident stated he smelled smoke in his unit. Security checked area and unit; no smoke detected.

A resident left soup warming on the stove. There was no fire or damage to the unit.

•Nov. 19, 2:22 p.m., Mutual 5

A car fire was extinguished by the Orange County Fire Authority. No structures were in danger.

An unknown person removed cash and a handicap placard from a resident’s porch.

•Nov. 4, 11:59 a.m., 5:57 p.m., Mutual 4 Ongoing issue with resident claiming items missing from her unit, including this occurrence where medication and a dictionary were reported missing.

An unknown person removed a resident’s walker outside her unit.

A resident complained of an unknown person removing plants from the garden area.

A resident stated he found various items missing on three different occasions throughout the month.

An unknown person broke the lock of a resident; storage unit in the carport. No items were missing.

A resident reported a loud humming noise inside his residence. Security discovered the vacuum still turned on and turned it off.

A resident stated she heard screaming in the neighboring unit. There was no screaming, only loud voices.
