The South Coast Orchid Society will present a program by Douglas Overstreet, wellknown orchid guru and judge, on “My Ten Favorite Cattleyas” at Whaley Park Community Center, 5260 E. Leftover household products that contain corrosive, toxic, ignitable or reactive ingredients are considered household hazardous waste. Products such as paints, cleaners, oils, batteries and pesticides that contain potentially hazardous ingredients require special handling when residents dispose of them. Residents are prohibited from disposing of household hazardous waste at the 1.8-Acre Site.
