The Coconut Breeze Band returns to Clubhouse 4 on Friday, May 22, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in a show titled “Jump In The Line.” All are invited to kick off Memorial Day weekend with music, dancing and a jaunt through the conga line. Let The Good Times Roll Club


UPCOMING LEGENDS OF ROCK DANCES The Let The Good Times Roll Club will hold a rock and roll show on Saturday, May 16, in Clubhouse 2. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show will start at 5:30. Club members will perform songs about American cities and states. Selections include show tunes like “Oklahoma,” Frank Sinatra’s hit “New York, New York” and Eagles song “Hotel California.”

ALOHA CLUB PERFORMANCE Twenty-five members of the Aloha Club recently performed a lively concert at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Los Alamitos for the church's 65th anniversary celebration. The music and singing roused sunshine and happiness, causing one church member to comment, “I may be over the hill, but I feel I can climb another mountain now.”

The GRF Recreation Department will host a special brunch to honor mothers on Saturday, May 9, in Clubhouse 4 at 11 a.m. This is always a huge success, and the event is expected to sell out this year. LW ARTISTS RECOGNIZED Alice Sioson ….


LW ARTISTS RECOGNIZED Alice Sioson (l) and Joan Boryta (r) were winners at the City of Cypress 2026 Spring Juried Art Show held on April 19 at the Cypress Community Center. Their entries were among the 228 art pieces that won awards. Sioson won second place for her 3D glass fusion piece titled "The Mermaid." Boryta won an honorable mention for her watercolor painting "Play Date."
