This month’s presentation will be by Rick Flores, a longtime member of the Los Angeles Adventurers’ Club and a photography enthusiast. Retired from the aerospace industry, he spends his abundant free time reading, traveling, cooking and looking for interesting things to photograph.

Flores will speak about his trip to Peru in 2015, accompanied by his niece and nephew. They visited the Inca ruins in Machu Picchu and the Checta Petroglyphs. They went white river rafting on the Urubamba River and visited the Macaw Society, previously known as the Tambopata Macaw Project, in the Amazon rainforest. They also took a long hike in the Colca Canyon.

The meeting is open to all Leisure World residents and their guests.
