Romans 15:13 says “I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Sometimes it can be easy to lose hope in a world full of negative headlines. But God, the very source of hope, has this promise in Romans of joy and peace for believers when they trust in him. When people put their hope in the things of this imperfect world, they will eventually be disappointed. But if they look to and trust in the one who is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8), they will not be disappointed.

Join Faith Christian Assembly for service on Sunday, Oct. 19, to celebrate the God of all hope. Each service has a welcoming crowd, worship music with hymns, and a hope-filled biblical message.

Those who are in need of prayer can stay after service to connect with one of the church’s prayer partners who would love to pray for people.
