LW Community Emergency Response Team

The LW Community Emergency Response Team(LW CERT) will meet on the third Friday, June 20, at 9 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. Note that this meeting will be held one week earlier than the usual monthly meeting due to the Life Options Expo event on June 27.

This week’s topic will be on how to shelter in place, presented by LW CERT president Catherine O’Brien. Residents are reminded that in a disaster they are On Your Own and are encouraged to have three days of food and water for each person living in the unit, including pets. LW CERT’s free monthly FEMA-informed safety classes are 45 minutes long and all residents are welcome to join. Refreshments will be provided.
