Presidents’ Council Meeting Recap

Clubhouse 4 and Zoom Tele-Video Conference

The regular monthly meeting of the Presidents’ Council of Leisure World Seal Beach was convened at 1:31 p.m. by President Rich Carson on Wednesday, March 5, via Clubhouse 4 and Zoom Tele-Video Conference.

The following is a recap of the meeting:

• Presidents’ Council meeting minutes of Feb. 5 were approved as printed.

• GRFPresidentJanetIsominformed the Council members that the Executive Director contract was not renewed but the Executive Director will remain an at-will employee after the contract ends. Isom also stated that the gate hours changed to 7 a.m.-8 p.m.

Sunday-Friday, and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturdays.

• IT Director Marcelo Mario discussed the new security system, Mutual roster Masterfile and inspection forms for Physical Property.

• Senior Director of Facilities Mark Weaver advised that the Turf Replacement Rebate Program ended March 7 and any Mutuals interested in the Multifamily Energy Efficient program need to pass a resolution to proceed.

• Physical Property Manager Kevin Black provided an update on the work being completed at the St. Andrews traffic light.

• Senior Director of Mutual Administration Jodi Hopkins introduced the new Stock Transfer Manager Claudia Garcia. Hopkins also provided an update on Stock Transfer reports and Mutual Administration.

• Executive Manager of Member Services Dave Potter presented the Stock Transfer monthly transfer report. Potter also advised the council members about 2024 audits and the Association Reserve Training for all directors, which will be conducted March 18, at 9 a.m. in Clubhouse 4.

• Next Council meeting: Wednesday, April 2, at 1:30 p.m., at Clubhouse 4, Zoom Tele-Video Conference and YouTube LIVE.
