Fashion show will be March 8

AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY

It’s not too late to join the American Legion Auxiliary on March 8 for its annual Fashion show, luncheon, and prize drawings. Doors open at 11 a.m. Tickets are $45 per person, and will not be available at the door.

All proceeds will go to nursing scholarships for local veterans, active military, and their families. Residents are invited to attend and be part of the Auxiliary’s purpose of “Service for Others, Not Self.”

A pasta bar lunch will be provided by “Love at First Bite.” The U.S. Naval Sea Cadets will assist in serving the meal. There are many donations from local businesses to choose from for the prize drawings. The shuttle bus will be available from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. to take people from the Clubhouse 4 parking lot to Clubhouse 2 and back. To RSVP, call Jean Sudbeck at 562-594-0209.
