GOLDEN AGE FOUNDATION

Residents can take advantage of the Golden Age Foundation’s (GAF) free income tax service, where an IRS-certified volunteer will prepare and file tax returns for full-year California residents.

This AARP program is sponsored by the GAF and is provided free-of-charge every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m.-noon in The Knowledge and Learning Center in Clubhouse 3.

Appointments are required, residents can call 562-596-1987 and leave their name and telephone number. A volunteer will return the call to schedule the appointment.

People must fill out the intake/interview sheet prior to the appointment, which can be picked up at the LW Library and completed prior to the appointment.

Individuals with rental property or a net loss from selfemployment are considered out-of-scope for this program.
