Community Church

This week the Community Church returns to the Gospel of Luke, and perhaps his most important teaching sometimes called the beatitudes—the blessed be sayings. And in these statements Jesus is turning the society as it is upside down, he is establishing a new creation here and now.

The teachings of Jesus provide people with a rubric to look at their lives and how they are living. Those who are ready to look at the world around them and make a difference in the lives of their family, friends and neighbors, are welcome to join this Sunday. It often has first-time worshippers and many come back again.

The LW Community Church is located inside Leisure World by St. Andrews Gate at 14000 Church Place. Those who are feeling anxious or uncertain and looking for a sanctuary and safe community are welcome. A Sunday service is held at 9:50 a.m. Come early for a cup of coffee in the Narthex. Everyone is welcome, especially the first-time worshippers. Come see what this friendly church is all about.
