Assembly of God

Observing the Northern Lights with one’s own eyes is far better than seeing a picture of them. Tasting a piece of warm pie is more satisfying than watching someone else enjoy it. Embracing loved ones is immensely superior to a phone call with them. The author of 1 John begins with an exuberant proclamation of experiencing Jesus, God’s Son, with own eyes, ears and hands. The Scripture invites the reader to fully share the immeasurable joy of knowing the father, the creator, through a personal relationship with Jesus, the son. This Sunday, pastor Chuck Franco will share from 1 John 1:1-4, “Sharing the Joy.”

Wednesday Bible study examines “Who is Jesus?” from the “What is a Christian?” series by Francis Chan. These basics are essential to understanding what it means to truly live a Christian life and be a disciple in contemporary society. The brief video will follow by guided discussion and people interaction.
