Tickets to Valentine’s Day dance on sale now

Tickets are on sale now for the GRF Valentine’s Day Dinner Dance, slated for Wednesday, Feb.14. The romantic not-forcouples- only evening will begin at 6 p.m. in Clubhouse 2, with a sumptuous dinner of lemon herb chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, steamed vegetable medley, Sonoma salad, and chocolate mousse for dessert, catered by Country Garden Caterers.

This year’s dinner will feature Stone Sou 5l, a five-piece, horn-blowing, foot-stomping band that has built a reputation as one of the most entertaining bands in the genre. With their snazzy suits and spot-on renditions of classic soul and Motown hits, the Stone Soul 5 will have people dancing The Jerk, The Mashed Potato and The Twist to smash hits from Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, Otis Redding, James Brown and more. Lead singer Matt Grey and his group have rocked the house at the last two Amphitheater seasons with LW fans begging for more.

The Recreation Department is thrilled to have Gasper Monteer Realty Group sponsoring this event. Carol Gasper and Nick Monteer are providing goody bags for the participants and will host a drawing for a $100 gift card. They will join the department in helping to give away the centerpieces to one lucky person at each table.

Those interested are encouraged to book now as this event always sells out and seating is limited. Tables may be purchased by groups of eight, subject to availability. Tickets are $45 per person or $320 for a table, for cash or check, and are available at the Recreation office in Building C.
