Caroling Connection will entertain club Dec. 3

LW WOMAN'S CLUB

The Leisure World Woman’s Club will hold its annual holiday potluck on Tuesday, Dec. 3, in Clubhouse 2 beginning at noon. A short business meeting will proceed the luncheon.

The club’s philanthropic gift for the month of December will be presented to the Casa Youth Shelter of Los Alamitos. The organization provides young people with counseling, food, tutoring opportunity and shelter.

If a club member wants to make additional gifts to the organization, non-perishable kid/ teen food products are needed in the organization’s kitchen. This could include such items as kidfriendly boxed cereal, canned corn, bottled spaghetti sauce, spaghetti and pasta elbows, bottled salsa and corn chips.

Members who have not made a reservation for the luncheon may call Cheryl Falconer at 714-904-1894. The group will serve main dishes, sides, salads, and desserts.

Members of the Caroling Connection will be the luncheon’s entertainment. Established in 1997, Caroling Connection Entertainment is a company of professional singers, each with extensive musical theater experience and successful solo careers of their own. Together in quartets, they perform in beautiful a capella. All songs are all professionally arranged in four-part harmonies.

The Caroling Connection dresses in Dickens-style clothing to create even more holiday cheer.

Members are encouraged to wear their high spirits clothing for this beginning of the holiday season event.
