The Rat Pack From Vegas performs hits by the Rat Pack, the legendary group of entertainers who defined 1960s Las Vegas. The band’s name was originally coined by actress Lauren Bacall. After seeing her husband, Humphrey Bogart, and his friends stumble home from a long night of carousing, she remarked that they looked like a “rat pack.” Following Bogart’s death in 1957, the public transferred the name to Frank Sinatra’s circle. This second, more famous iteration included Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop—and it’s this group of stars that will be tributed tonight, July 23, on the Amphitheater stage.
The Rat Pack from Vegas features Kenny Jones, Johnny Edwards and Robbie Howard as Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.
Kenny Jones’ love for music began at the age of 8. At 12, he made his stage debut with a local group called The Jive Five. In 2005, Jones elevated his showmanship to a new level when he was cast in Las Vegas in The Rat Pack Is Back. The role proved to be a natural fit. Jones is a gifted singer, songwriter, musician, and recording artist—a truly dynamic entertainer. Today, he continues to captivate audiences around the world, delivering an unforgettable tribute to the ultimate entertainer—Sammy Davis Jr.
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Johnny Edwards gained early recognition for his work on “She Bop” with Cyndi Lauper. During a stint as Elvis Presley, his performances caught the attention of the producers of “The Rat Pack Is Back,” where he was cast as The King of Cool— Dean Martin. Edwards continues to tour with “The Rat Pack From Vegas,” portraying Dean Martin while also serving as co-writer alongside Robbie Howard.
For over two decades, Howard has headlined in Las Vegas with his own critically acclaimed shows, including “Hooray America” and “Stars of the Strip.”
He’s performed alongside legendary artists such as The Righteous Brothers, Don Rickles, Joan Rivers, B.B. King, Tom Jones, Rich Little and others. With his dedication to excellence, Howard brings the timeless charm of Frank Sinatra to audiences all over the world.
