God’s love toward those he created is far superior than any love one could imagine in earthly terms. Though humans are often rebellious, contrary, unkind and selfish, God calls them his children. And, being a perfect, loving Father, the pathway to a restored and right relationship with God, the Father, is always available.

1 John 3:1-3 says Christians aren’t a finished work and are still being transformed to be more like Christ. Pastor Chuck Franco’s Sunday message is: “His awesome love” will encourage and strengthen those who have already put their trust in the God who loves them as treasured, precious children, and those who desire to gain that relationship.

Wednesday Bible study begins a new “What is a Christian?” series. The next six weeks will dive into who Jesus is and why he came. This week is titled “Who is Jesus?” A brief video will follow by a guided discussion and compelling student interaction.

Leisure World Assembly of God meets on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Wednesday Bible study is at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Hymn Sing is on the fourth Sunday of the month at 6 p.m. in Clubhouse 3 Lobby. All Leisure World residents and friends are welcome.
