Hui O Hula

At the beginning of the year, Hui O Hula VIP/dancer Kaye Huff celebrated her 90th birthday (she was born on Christmas Eve) in Clubhouse 4. The extravagant party was given by her family. Over 100 of her best friends and family from across the nation showed up to share the aloha and the festivity.

Entertainment was provided by Aloha Club ukulele players; Michael and Kathy Harada; Hui O Hula Hawaiian dancers; and musical band Kapakahi, led by Larry Yamashiro. The evening feast included a roast suckling pig and many homecooked ono/delicious dishes. Kaye Huff was one of Weingart’s first three students.
