Join the 14th annual concert on Saturday, Oct. 17
KOREAN AMERICAN CHOIR
The Seal Beach Korean American Choir will hold its 14th annual Concert, on Oct. 17, at 6 p.m. at 14000 Church Place, sponsored by LW Korean Community Church (LWKCC). Admission is free.
The Seal Beach Korean American Choir, led by Elder Keum Seung Park, is known for bringing warmth, comfort, and grace to its performances. Founded in 2007 by Elder Grace Kim, the Korean American Choir inspires the local community with beautiful music each fall. This year’s concert promises another rich and moving experience suited to the autumn season.
The performance will be conducted by Dr. Jae Kyeong Lee, a graduate in choral and orchestral conducting from the Saint Petersburg State Conservatoire in Russia, with delicate accompaniment by pianist Ae-Young Kim, with support of the Los Angeles Charity Chamber Ensemble. The program features a diverse selection of inspiring sacred songs as well as cherished Korean art songs. In addition to a special performance by the LA Charity Chamber Ensemble, the concert will feature the Kairos Men’s Ensemble as special guest performers.
“We hope many will find comfort and fully enjoy the inspiring spirit of autumn through the music we have lovingly prepared,” said Elder Keum Seung Park.
LWKCC is located at 14000 Church Place, additional parking is available at the Village Shopping Center.
