Congregation Sholom
Congregation Sholom will hold a hybrid service on Friday, June 12, in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, and on Zoom with Rabbi Karen Isenberg at 6:30 p.m. An Oneg for members will follow. Les Brown will sponsor the Oneg Shabbat in celebration of Max Smith’s 82nd birthday.
Rabbi Isenberg will also lead the hybrid service on Saturday, June 13, in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, and on Zoom at 10 a.m. To receive a Zoom invitation, contact Jeff Sacks at 714-642-0122.
Congregation members will see “Footloose” at the Gem Theater in Garden Grove on Sunday, June 14, at 2 p.m. Carpools are available. Tickets are $35 each, with only three tickets left. To RSVP, email Murray Finck at murrjet@yahoo.com.
People are encouraged to visit California Fish Grill Restaurant at 10569 Valley View Street in Cypress on Tuesday, June 23, to contribute to a fundraiser for Congregation Sholom, who will receive 25% for dine in and takeout orders that day.
June 26 will be a potluck and Shabbat service in Clubhouse 3, Room 9 beginning at 5 p.m.
Members are also encouraged to attend the July 26 summer barbecue picnic at the Clubhouse 1 picnic area at 11 a.m.

Congregation Sholom has been serving Leisure World since 1962. It offers a traditional Jewish service in person and online.
