Permanent guest passes will now be reprinted every 90 days

GRF SECURITY

Starting Monday, Nov. 9, residents’ permanent guests will be automatically reissued new, 90-day passes by gate operators when they next enter the community. No action is needed from residents.

The new 90-day passes will replace previously issued permanent guest passes that were valid for one year. Over time, the annual passes became sun-faded, making them difficult for Security personnel to read and verify. By issuing fresh passes every 90 days, Security can help ensure that guest information remains clear and legible.

The change was initiated by the Operations Committee at its October meeting. Committee members confirmed that, in accordance with GRF policy, all guest passes should be valid for a maximum of 90 days.

Under the new procedure, any permanent guest pass issued on or after Nov. 9 will be valid for 90 days. When the pass expires, the guest will automatically receive a new 90-day pass upon their next entry into the community.

GRF Security appreciates everyone’s understanding and cooperation as staff make this small but helpful improvement to the guest access procedures.
