The Golden Age Foundation (GAF) is entirely funded by donations which are used to support safe, active, independent living to the LW community. Through the generous support of residents, clubs, organizations and businesses, the GAF has organized and implemented many free programs for residents. It is run entirely by resident volunteers, so all contributions go directly to meet the needs of the community.

Residents can help the GAF continue its mission to help residents for free by doing one or more of the following:

• Become a member and make a yearly contribution.

• Make a one‐time donation by leaving a legacy gift naming the GAF as the beneficiary designation via a will or trust.

• Make a donation of stocks, real estate, life insurance, or minimum distribution.

Donations can also be made directly to the GAF via P.O. Box 2369 Seal Beach, CA 90740. The GAF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization tax ID number 23‐7273105.

The GAF is the largest philanthropic, nonprofit organization serving Leisure World for over 53 years. Its mission is to empower residents to live purposeful, healthy lives in their home and community as they age. Core GAF programs include the Hospitality Center, Mobility Aids Program, the free income tax filing program, quarterly document shredding, battery and e-waste recycling opportunities, and the Salvation Army donation program.
