LW Baptist Church

LW Baptist Church meets every Sunday at 10 a.m. for worship in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.

On Sunday, Oct. 25, the message will focus on the Scripture in Revelation 7:17, “For the lamb in the center of the throne shall be their Shepherd and shall guide them to springs of the water of life, and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Moses shepherded Israel for an entire generation, but pointed to a prophet like himself yet to come. During Jesus’ public ministry, he called himself the “Good Shepherd” and people said, “Truly this is the prophet who is to come into the world.”

Moses’ five books in the Bible close looking for this coming person, who knew the Lord face to face and did signs and wonders with mighty power and awesome deeds in the sight of all Israel. That prophet is Jesus, the great shepherd of God’s people forever.
