Share your opinion on Community Gardens opening time on Oct. 26

GRF BOARD

GRF President Jeff Mulqueen and GRF Director Michael Banfield will host two back-to-back meetings to get feedback on a proposed time change at the Community Gardens. Some Mutual 9 residents have asked that the garden open at 8 a.m. to prevent earlymorning noise disturbances. Meanwhile, some gardeners favor a 7 a.m. opening so they can tend plots in the cool of the day.

In an effort to get more information on the issue, Mulqueen and Banfield will meet with shareholders who live in the vicinity of the Community Gardens to learn more about reported noise complaints. The meeting will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Oct. 26, in Clubhouse 4.

Then at 2 p.m. on the same day, gardeners are invited to air their concerns and ideas related to the proposed time change to 8 a.m. Residents are also welcome to submit comments via email to jmulqueen@lwsb.com. GARDENS
