A resident left a plastic item in the oven; smoke only, no fire.
•Sept. 19, 2:24 p.m., Mutual 4
A false alarm was triggered.
•Sept. 20, 3 a.m., Mutual 7
A smoke detector was activated to signal a low battery.
•Sept. 20, 9:33 p.m., Mutual 7
A resident had the oven on high and could not open the oven door; no smoke or fire.
•Sept. 20, 5:34 a.m., Mutual 2
An outlet began smoking during use. The plastic was burned.

A resident reported her bicycle light was missing after parking the bike in the pool area.

A resident reported her hubcap was missing.

A resident stated someone entered his unit and removed three receipts.

A resident reported a flower pot missing from the garden area.

A resident reported items missing from her vehicle.

FELONY THEFT (more than $950 in value): 1

A resident reported $2,800 in cash was missing. Seal Beach Police were called to the scene.

Obscene graffiti was found near the carport.

Graffiti was found near the laundry room.

A group of residents were reportedly damaging the walkway.

A resident reported three tires on his vehicle were deflated.

•Sept. 13, 5:55 p.m., St. Andrews Exit Gate A resident’s vehicle struck a stop sign at St. Andrews Gate.

A resident’s vehicle struck a stop sign at the Main Gate.

A resident’s vehicle struck a stop sign.

A resident hears knocking on his window at all hours of the night. No noise was detected.

A resident was observed verbally abusing a gardener by another resident.

A resident stated she observed a man who “didn’t belong here” using the laundry facilities. The man was not found.

A resident observed a neighbor placing food and seeds out for animals. Also advised a person adjusted their new camera.
