DUI Checkpoint: Aug. 29

On Saturday, Aug. 29, the Seal Beach Police Department will conduct a driving under the influence checkpoint from 7 p.m.-2 a.m. at an undisclosed location within the city limits.

Checkpoint locations are determined based on where the most impaired-driving collisions occur.

Alcohol isn’t the only thing that impairs driving. Prescription medications,over-the-counter drugs and marijuana can also impact a person’s ability to operate a vehicle.
