LW Baptist Church meets at every Sunday at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.

The message for Sunday, Aug. 23, is identifying with God. Human beings are made to worship their creator and redeemer. Because they reflect God’s image and likeness, they are moral creatures living in a moral world and under the authority of a holy God.

A healthy attitude recognizes immediately this truth and rejoices and gives thanks to God. But a foolish outlook denies accountability to the creator. The difference between these outlooks is the presence or the absence of faith in the human heart. The Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God; for the one who comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
