Scrabble Club meets Wednesdays from 1-4 p.m.

The Leisure World Scrabble Club meets on Wednesdays from 1-4 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 5. The club met on the last three Wednesdays in June. There were 23 scores above 300 and 20 bingos—i.e. the use of all seven tiles in one move.

Suthy Edgar led with 10 bingos and five scores above 300. Her totals ranged from 334 to 465. Diane Seeger had six scores higher than 300, with a range from 305 to 378. She had three bingos.

Jim Schneiderman topped 300 three times with four bingos. His range was from 303 to 349. Also, he had a 262 in a three-way game, equivalent to a 394 in a two-way game.

Larry Edgar had four totals above 300, one of which was a 317 in a three-way game, equivalent to a 475 in a two-way game. He had three bingos and a range from that 317 to 459.

Sue Ann Gass and Sylvia Makus each topped 300 twice. Gass’ range was from 353 to 360. Makus’ was from 308 to 346. Kay Pushman posted a score of 318.
