Red, white and blue golf cart parade is July 3

ROLLIN' THUNDER

The Rollin’ Thunder Golf Cart Club will hold its annual patriotic parade on July 3, starting at 10 a.m.

Carts should be staged at Clubhouse 6 at 9:30 a.m. to assure a timely start.

All participants are requested to decorate their carts in festive July 4th colors to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America. In addition to golf carts, runners, bicycles, scooters, walkers and noise makers are welcome but require a minimum 5 mph speed to keep up with the parade.

The parade will leave from Clubhouse 6 and turn left on St. Andrews Drive, then right on Interlachen, right on Del Monte, right on Sunningdale, circle the flagpole and back, then left on Del Monte, right “in-and-out” McKinney, again to Del Monte, right to “in-and-out” at St. John and back to Del Monte. Then the parade travels right toward Northwood, continuing toward El Dorado and “in-and-out” of the Clubhouse 2 parking lot, then left on El Dorado to finish at Foxburg.
