The United States will celebrate 250 years as a free people this weekend. On Sunday, July 5, LW Baptist will speak about why faith in God is vital. The nation’s founders realized only faith in God’s Word the Bible would continue liberty’s blessings.

Freedom’s basis is being set free from sin through the gospel of the saving grace of God in Jesus Christ.

Faith in Christ’s saving work for sinners on the cross and his resurrection life sets them free, as nothing else can. The Lord Jesus is the hope for every person.

That is where prayer comes in. Only the Spirit of God can speak directly to the human heart and open people’s eyes to the gospel good news that sets believers free.

Every Christian has a personal testimony of how the Lord Jesus Christ freed them from sin and now guides them in righteous paths for his name’s sake, and will some day lead them to heaven’s glory.

Together and individually believers must share their story of God’s saving them in Christ, so that others may come to have this love, joy and peace.

LW Baptist meets in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, on Sundays at 10 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
