Auxiliary welcomes and installs new of. cers

AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY

The American Legion Auxiliary of Leisure World officially installed its new leadership team for the upcoming term during a recent ceremony.

The ceremony marked the formal transition of leadership, where incoming officers took their oaths to support veterans and their military families.

The newly installed officers include: Betty Lucero, president; Dianne Hart, vice president; Rose Marie Sprague, secretary; and Denese Anderson, treasurer. Also serving are Chaplain Jean Enkhorn, historian Anita Marx and sergeant at arms Sally Fowler and Pam Gruhn.

Incoming President Betty Lucero shared her vision for the year ahead, “Our main focus this year will be to support our veterans and their families through our upcoming fundraising efforts.” The installation of officers was conducted by Cindy Edes, District 29 president.

Vice President Dianne Hart was honored as Member of the Year for her outstanding service to the group and veterans in Leisure World and beyond.
