Pastor Sheri Leming will teach a lesson from a verse in the longest book in the Bible, Psalm 119 to Faith Christian Assembly’s congregation on Sunday, June 28.

As children, many longed for the day when they would be grown and have the freedom to make their own decisions.

But the freedom once dreamed of as kids is rarely as simple as imagined. The decisions that must be made in life rarely prove to be simple. There are countless opinions being shouted by “experts,” but it can still seem as though people are walking blindly through the dark.

But by opening the Bible, people can see a way through the haze. Pastor Sheri will speak out of Psalm 119:130, “The unfolding of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.” She will take a closer look what the psalmist meant by this verse and how it applies to a believer’s daily life. The word of God has the power to bring great peace in times of confusion.

Faith Christian Assembly’s weekly services times are Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and Wednesdays at 11 a.m. The church is located just outside of Leisure World by St. Andrews Gate.
