LW Assembly of God will celebrate all fathers, including those who have been a father figure to someone, this Sunday, June 21. Pastor Chuck Franco will bring a message particularly focused on encouraging men and affirming the vital role they have in families and communities. The sermon is titled “What is Fatherhood,” based on Luke 1:17.
The Wednesday Bible study continues the series on the Holy Spirit with the lesson “Healing.” The Holy Spirit is active in the believer’s life, ministering in distinct ways. Pastor Tyler Staton teaches about the involvement of the Holy Spirit to accomplish healing in the video lesson, and Pastor Chuck moderates interactive class discussion, guided by study questions.
Leisure World Assembly of God meets Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in the Clubhouse 3 lobby. The Wednesday Bible study is at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.
