Sophia Kim is club champion

The LW Women’s Golf Club’s three week club champion tournament ended on May 19. Sophia Kim was named the club champion, with a three week score of 80. Par for the course is 27 and Kim was 1 under par for the three rounds. Tournament results: A flight winners: Sophia Kim, 80, low gross; Hae Lee, 76, low net.

B flight winners: Kyung Kim, 90, low gross; Laura Garcia and Margie Thompson, 80, low net.

C flight winners: Marilyn Hewitt, 99, low gross; Mary Ann Moore, 72, low net.

D flight winners: Connie Kang, 118, low gross; Dale Quinn, 86, low net.

The club played the weekly nine hole tournament on June 2, with 35 women participating. Play for the day was low gross, low net, and circle hole on No. 6. Patricia Sunwoo landed her ball inside the circle.
