Important Notice: GRF Trust Attorney Legal Services

After several years of dedicated service to the Golden Rain Foundation and the Leisure World community, the GRF’s trust attorney will be retiring on July 1, 2026. The foundation sincerely thanks them for the professionalism, guidance and commitment throughout the years. As a result, the GRF is switching to a new provider and fees for certain legal services will be increasing Aug. 1, pending GRF Board approval of the rule and the required notification to the membership.

Residents/members who may wish to complete services before the fee increase are encouraged to do so at their earliest convenience.

Shareholders who would like to confirm that their trust has been properly assigned to their Leisure World unit can visit the Stock Transfer Office before Aug. 1 to take advantage of the current fee before the increase. A trust review is not required at this time unless a shareholder would like confirmation that their documents are currently in order. A trust review reflects the status of the trust only at the time of review. An additional review will be required upon the passing of all shareholders or if the unit is sold or transferred.

Shareholders who would like to establish a Power of Attorney and take advantage of the current fee before the increase can also visit the Stock Transfer Office for assistance. A review is not required at this time unless a shareholder intends to exercise their Power of Attorney for Leisure World purposes.
