LW Korean Community Church (LWKCC) aims to continue its eye surgery ministry by providing the opportunity for free surgery to 100 visually impaired individuals, helping them to see “the light” again.

Bringing light to neighbors living in darkness is not merely a form of assistance, but part of LWKCC’s sacred mission to plant God’s love in the world. The church believes that the will of heaven can be fulfilled when all believers obey in faith and extend a helping hand of love.

The church’s male vocal ensemble will raise funds for the charity by performing two hymns, “Be Faithful” and “The Mighty Jehovah” at the June 14 service. LWKCC asks for believers to pray for the charity and for LWKCC to reach its goal.

In Acts 2:1-4, the disciples gathered with one heart and one mind to pray and await the Lord’s promise. As they stepped forward in obedience—becoming witnesses to the Gospel they had seen and heard—the work of the Holy Spirit was miraculously fulfilled. The descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost was not a coincidence but a sacred moment of grace in which Jesus’ commands and promises were brought to fulfillment.

Believers in Jesus share fellowship with one another and rejoice in the unity of being one body in Christ. Wherever the Holy Spirit descends, the church is revitalized and the hearts of the believers are filled with overflowing with gratitude.

LWCC holds a worship service every Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in the sanctuary at 14000 Church Place (next to St. Andrews Gate). People are welcome to join the early morning prayer service led by the senior pastor at the sanctuary at 6 a.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
