Art League: Art in Bloom Exhibition

The Art League’s Art in Bloom fine art exhibition will be held Saturday, June 20, from 4-7 p.m. in Clubhouse 3.

Some artists are reclusive, reserved, even bashful. But their underlying desire to have their work displayed and appreciated by friends and neighbors draws them out of hiding for events such as Art in Bloom.

Art League President Ramayana “RB” Baba puts it this way, “in-person art exhibits lift artists and art-lovers in a way that in-print or online presentations can’t. The experience is visceral, even spiritual.”

With so many art pieces created in a plethora of mediums on display, Art in Bloom provides artists a forum to share their passion. The event is sponsored by the Golden Age Foundation and Gasper Monteer Realty Group. Last year’s event drew record crowds to view over 120 art pieces, and this year’s gala expands the number of artists and art pieces created by Leisure World residents. This will be a great opportunity to mingle with friends, enjoy a glass of wine, and peruse art while rubbing elbows with local artists.
