Scrabble Club

The Leisure World Scrabble Club meets every Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 5. On June 3, lunch will be served, starting at about noon.

The club meet on April 29 and May 6. There were 35 scores above 300 and 19 bingos (i.e. the use of all seven tiles in one move).

Suthy Edgar led with seven bingos and six scores higher than 300. Her scores ranged from 306-432. Larry Edgar had seven scores above 300 and two bingos. The range of his scores was from 307-404. One of his wins was his 700th as a member of the club.

Jim Schneiderman topped 300 six times, with six bingos. His scores ranged from 309-422. Diane Seeger had six scores above 300. She had two bingos and a range from 306-370.

Donna Perkins and Sylvia Makus both exceeded 300 three times. Perkins, who had two bingos, ranged from 327-370. Makus had a range from 315-335.

Myrna Losquadro and Sue Ann Gass both topped 300 twice. Their respective ranges were 313-316 and 303-313.
