Karaoke Club: Memorial Day Celebration

The Karaoke Club’s May 27 karaoke party from 5:30-9:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 1 will celebrate Memorial Day with favorite patriotic tunes and plenty of red, white and blue. The evening will feature music, friendship and lively entertainment.

On May 13, the club celebrated the Pacific Islands with colorful Hawaiian attire and the soothing sounds of Hawaii shared by many of the club’s talented members. The audience enjoyed the mellow voice of Chris Stephens singing “Sea of Heartbreak.” Dorothy Ferrington selected the beautiful “Starry Starry Night,” while Donna Cooper surprised the crowd with a spirited rendition of “Fever.” John Guidi brought back memories with the popular 1950s hit “White Sport Coat,” and Kyung Ju gave an animated performance of “A Love So Beautiful.” Gerry Tagaloa dedicated his favorite tune to his visiting son.

Everyone is welcome to sing or simply relax and enjoy the efforts of others. Karaoke night is always a warm and social gathering, and the club invites all to join this special Memorial Day celebration.
