Joyful Line Dance Club celebrates 12 years
The Joyful Line Dance Club will celebrate its 12th year of line dancing today, May 14, in Clubhouse 2, beginning at 10 a.m. Complimentary sandwiches will provided thanks to generous donors.
The club began twice a week classes with a handful of line dance lovers in February 2012 in the Amphitheater and Clubhouse 3 Lobby. The club became a staple with over 110 members, and attendance of about 70 dancers on Thursdays.
The club thanks past and currentmembers who continuously attend to exercise for one or two hours.
The classes start with an easy-to-follow routine from 1011 a.m. The second hour from 11 -noon is for intermediate to advanced members who enjoy the challenges of learning new dances. Everyone can join the second class.
People must be members of the club to take classes, and sign in with their names, Mutual and unit numbers. Annual membership is $20 and cannot be prorated. Exercise shoes are recommended. Check in at the front desk before the class.
