Paws, Claws and Beaks Club
The Paws, Claws and Beaks Club will meet for a picnic on Thursday, May 14, at 11 a.m. in the Clubhouse 1 picnic area. Members are asked to bring a side dish to share. During the meeting, the club will talk about pet care and microchipping.
Suzanne Litt from Gentle Pet Care Clinic will join the club to answer questions and offer suggestions on keeping pets safe in LW. She will go over the process of updating a pet’s microchip after a move or adoption and checking to see if a pet even has a microchip.
The club will provide free pet tags to all pet owners who don’t have them. If a tagged pet gets lost in the community, Security and others will be able to located them and know how to get them home safely.
Cats should be brought in a carrier and dogs on a leash if they are brought to the meeting. Members are asked to RSVP as soon as possible so the club knows how much food to purchase for the picnic. People can call or text Bonnie Kaplan at 714-930-5314 or email craft.kaplan029@gmail.com.
