Dance the night away at Senior Prom on May 2

CITY OF LOS ALAMITOS

LW residents are invited to dust off their dancing shoes and sway into a tropical paradise with the City of Los Alamitos Recreation and Community Services Department at its annual Senior Prom on Saturday, May 2, from 3-6 p.m. at the Los Alamitos Community Center, 10911 Oak St.

This year’s theme is a breezy, feel-good tropical escape for an afternoon filled with laughter, music, and connection.

Whether seniors want to relive cherished prom memories or make brand-new ones, this night will be their time to shine.

Seniors are welcome to slip into their finest island-inspired attire and enjoy:

• Live music by King Salmon and the Funk Yard Horns

• Casino games

• A photo booth

• Dinner

• Dancing and social fun

•Prizes and surprises throughout the evening Senior Prom is more than just a dance; it’s a celebration of friendship, joy, and timeless fun.

Pre-sale tickets are $10 per person for adults over 50 and $12 for those aged 50 and under. Tables for groups of eight are $80 pre-sale for those 50 and older.

Pre-registration is encouraged as this event does sell out.
