LW Baptist Church

LW Baptist Church meets on Sundays at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. This week, the church will focus on God’s word, the Bible.

God has given the Bible to the world to tell people about himself. Men of God spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. So the five books of Moses are God’s own words given to Moses, as Deuteronomy 4 says: “Moses spoke to the sons of Israel according to all that the Lord had commanded him to give to them.”

It is God’s love and mercy that he reveals himself to the world, as Jesus said, “Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”

God’s voice speaking to mankind. God says that he tolerates no rivals; none compare with him. Disregard of his word is unbelief; salvation is by faith.
