Hui O Hula

The Hui O Hula Club wishes a warm welcome to newcomers Helen Wu and Hyung Lee. Both have been dancing less than a year and doing well in class and at performances. The two brought joy and aloha to the Alamitos West Health Care Center dancing to the lyric “make me warm all over” in “Tiny Bubbles.” The club wishes a happy June birthday to Helen, who is also a newcomer in Mutual 6. Helen became an airline hostess when flying was glamorous. She has two sons and a daughter, and now enjoys life and dancing in LW after retiring from her own business. Hula classes are held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting at 1 p.m. All are welcome. For more information, call 562-431-2242.
