Doo Wop Club

LW residents and their guests are invited to experience a fully interactive summer Woodstock-themed concert on Saturday, July 15, in Clubhouse 2, at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30. Guests are asked to dress up in hippie style with peace signs, tie-dyed shirts, headbands, beads and flowers in their hair.

The club will feature many songs with skits and backup dancers. Expect tributes to The Fifth Dimension, Credence Clearwater Revival, Judy Collins, Canned Heat, Carly Simon and a special dedication to Tina Turner.

Performers include Carmen Edwards, Sherie Vanek, Erika Greenwood, Martha Destra, Nina Todorov, Vitaly Telishevsky, David Noble and William Young. Dancers include Josie Del Pino, Jenny Lambert and soloist Amy Walker. The club support team includes Ben Berg, Jackie Hildebrant and Lu DeSantis.

Cookies and coffee will be available, and guests are encouraged to bring their own snacks and drinks. Donations are greatly appreciated.
