LW residents and their family members can stay informed about street and gate closures, upcoming special events, dances, town halls and more with Leisure World Live, the Golden Rain Foundation’s email notification system. Subscribers can customize their notifications by topic, making it easier to receive relevant updates while cutting down on unnecessary emails. The segments are: •

Even though Leisure World is a gated community, political canvassing is allowed by residents and non-residents. Non-residents entering the community for this purpose must be authorized guests. Unless they are registered guests, non-residents do not need to be provided access to LW for any political purposes based on Civil Code § 4515 and its protections on political activity performed by residents

The GRF Transportation Department conducts monthly bus tours of Leisure World on first Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m., for all LW residents. The next tour is May 5. Included are GRF clubhouses, Turtle Lake Golf Course, Mission Park and its activity courts and gaming rooms, the 1.8-Acre disposal and recycling area, as well as the Leisure World Library and the Main Gate bus station. It assists residents with call-in guests, weekend and after-hours emergency plumbing and electrical issues, vehicle registration and decal/ RFID service and more.
