Dr. Shadi Vahdat will give a presentation titled “Building the Roadmap to Hospital Care” on Friday, Sept. 11, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 10 a.m. Refreshments will be served.

Vahdat brings over two decades of expertise in hospital and primary care with holistic integration approaches. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, she has worked across a spectrum of healthcare environments including nonprofit clinics, her private practice, and academic hospital settings.

Vahdat’s dual role as a hospital physician and as a caregiver for her loved ones has afforded her a 360-degree view of the healthcare experience. Her insights, drawn from overcoming real-life challenges, fuel her drive to clarify the healthcare system for both patients and caregivers. Building on themes from “The Roadmap to Hospital Care,” Vahdat’s follow-up talk will explore how patients and caregivers can better navigate modern healthcare through emerging tools, improved communication, and practical strategies for becoming informed healthcare advocates.
