Leisure World residents can stock up on fresh, healthy produce when the Produce Box Program from the LW Lions Club returns Thursday, June 25, in the Clubhouse 6 parking lot. Distribution runs from 10 a.m.-noon, and early arrival is encouraged. For just $10 cash, residents will receive 12 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables. GRF ID is required for pickup.

LW LIONS VISION DRIVE The LW Lions Club's vision screening on May 30 served more than 180 residents. People turned out in impressive numbers for the free community event to receive eye evaluations and free repurposed prescription glasses. The Table Tennis Club picnic party on June 3 was a tremendous success, drawing an outstanding turnout of members, families and friends. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to enjoy good food, outdoor activities, and fellowship in a relaxed setting.
