JOYFUL LINE DANCE

The Joyful Line Dance Club meets on Thursdays in Clubhouse 2 from 10 a.m.-noon. Instructors Albert Comia and Karen Kei share teaching responsibilities with a break in between. When one of the instructors is unavailable, the other one steps in to teach a two-hour class. Some more experienced dancers also volunteer their time to help out.

Each class starts with easy-to-follow dances such as “Electric Slide,” “Achy Breaky Heart,” “Mambo Italiano” and others. The second hour of a class introduces more advanced routine.

People must be members of the club to take classes. Annual membership is $20 and cannot be prorated. Exercise shoes are recommended.
