Putting contest coming in June

LW WOMEN'S GOLF CLUB

The LW Woman’s Golf Club will hold its second annual putting contest on Tuesday, June 30, at 7:45 a.m. at the Turtle Lake Golf Course. The event is open to all Leisure World residents. The entry fee is $10. Tickets go on sale April 14.

Thirty-eight women gathered at the Turtle Lake Golf Course for the weekly tournament on March 3. Play for the day was low gross, low net, and a circle hole on No. 6. CeCelia Feltman landed her ball in the circle on the sixth green. She won $1.

A flight winners: Sophia Kim, 27, low gross; Susie Kim, Clara Suh and Janice Turner, 25, low net.

B flight winners: Joann Lim, 30, low gross; Bert Thompson, 24, low net.

C flight winners: Kyung Kim, 30, low gross; Sang An and Sun Lee, 24, low net.

D flight winners: Janell Hiebert, 32, low gross; Neva Senske 21, low net.
