Shuffleboard fall leagues begin

The Shuffleboard Club’s fall leagues began this week. The Tuesday league had it’s first matches on Tuesday. Thursday and Friday leagues kick off their seasons today, Thursday, Sept. 25.

Before leagues started, players flocked to the courts to practice on Mondays and Thursdays. The club thanks Rod Osgood and Sue Burkschab for providing training sessions on Thursdays so players could hone their skills. New players are welcome to come to open play on Mondays from 9-11 a.m. to learn the techniques of shuffleboard. Feel free to come watch veteran players during league play on Tuesday nights from 5:45-8, Thursday afternoons from 1-3, and Friday mornings from 9-11:30.
