LW favorite Stone Soul will finish out the Amphitheater season tonight

Leisure World residents know and love Stone Soul—and tonight, they’re back to close out the Amphitheater season. This electrifying eight-piece Motown and classic soul tribute band delivers an unforgettable show, complete with horn-blasting energy, foot-stomping rhythms, snazzy suits and unstoppable charisma.

With rave reviews from their many performances at GRF special events, Stone Soul keeps audiences dancing with their spot-on renditions of legends like Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, Otis Redding, James Brown and more.

Led by founding member and lead singer Matt Grey, Stone Soul has supported legendary acts like Stevie Wonder, BB King, Huey Lewis & The News, Diana Ross, The O’Jays and Mary Wilson while playing over 1,000 shows to over 1.5 million fans. Grey is joined by percussionist Tom Curry, trumpet and fluglehorn player Rex Merriweather, saxophonist Danny Moynahan, keyboardist Clay Manska, guitarist John Nevolo, saxophonist and flutist Lance Rickman and bassist David Abercrombie.

No parking is allowed in front of the Amphitheater on St. Andrews Drive along the southbound lanes. This is a tow-away zone on Thursdays during Amphitheater season.

On Amphitheater show Thursdays, a circulating community shuttle service will begin at 6 p.m., which includes a timed shuttle operating on a fixed route and a roaming shuttle that travels through the community.

There will be no on-call bus service after 6 p.m. on Amphitheater show nights. After the concert ends, shuttle buses will be waiting on St. Andrews Drive to transport attendees home.
